Copy 'Em for iPhone & iPad User Guide
Save copied (clipboard) data
If you want to save your copied data, you can switch to Copy 'Em and let it save the data for you. Also, if you can't get an app share its data to Copy 'Em, try copying it to the clipboard and having Copy 'Em save it that way instead.
Enable the functionality
If you haven't enabled Copy 'Em to save clipboard data, enable it as follows:
1. In the list view where you see your items, tap the sidebar button to open the sidebar.
2. Tap the gear button.
3. Turn on Save Clipboard Data.
iOS/iPadOS restriction
Copy 'Em can only save your clipboard data when it is active (that is, when it is open on the screen). It is unable to read your clipboard data while it is off screen. iOS/iPadOS imposes this restriction for security reasons. It cannot be changed. (In contrast, Mac apps don't have this restriction.)
Two ways to save copied data
Avoid paste permission prompts
By default, iOS/iPadOS asks your for paste permission each time Copy 'Em tries to save your clipboard data. If you wish to grant permission to Copy 'Em once and for all, please go to Settings > Copy 'Em > Paste from Other Apps, and select Allow. This option is only available on iOS/iPadOS 16.1 or later.
