Unlike the main app, the widget has only a very small amount of memory to run with. This restriction is imposed by iOS/iPadOS. As a result, the widget has the following limitations:
- It can only show a limited number of items.
- It can run out of memory during syncing with iCloud. (If iCloud Sync in the app is turned on, the widget will sync its data with iCloud, like what the main app does. But if the data to sync is too large for the widget to handle, it will run out of memory. When that happens, you need to switch to the main app and let the main app continue syncing the large data.)
