Paste saved data from a custom keyboard
Copy 'Em lets you paste saved text snippets directly from a custom (software) keyboard into other locations. If you have often-used data such as addresses, phone numbers, or canned responses, you can use the keyboard to paste them quickly. You can also use the keyboard to paste multiple text snippets all at once.
Enable the keyboard
Before you can use the keyboard, you need to enable it.

Copy 'Em lets you paste saved text snippets directly from a custom (software) keyboard into other locations. If you have often-used data such as addresses, phone numbers, or canned responses, you can use the keyboard to paste them quickly. You can also use the keyboard to paste multiple text snippets all at once.
Enable the keyboard
Before you can use the keyboard, you need to enable it.
Use the keyboard
- If you're on another keyboard, tap its globe button, and select Copy 'Em to switch to this keyboard.
- Tap a saved item on the keyboard to paste it.
- (For non-textual data only.) If the item isn't pasted but only copied to the clipboard, paste it yourself. See (Limitations below for the reason.)
Open the keyboard on iPad while using its physical keyboard
On iPad, you can use both the custom keyboard and a physical keyboard at the same time. To open the custom keyboard, do the following:

- Tap and hold the V-like symbol at the bottom-right corner of your screen. This opens a software keyboard.
- Make the software keyboard float: (a) If the current keyboard does not have a keyboard-like key at the bottom-right corner, tap the globe key to switch to an iPadOS-provided keyboard that has that key; (b) tap and hold that key to open a menu; and (c) tap Floating.
- Tap the globe key and select the Copy 'Em keyboard.
Paste multiple text snippets all at once
- Tap the vertical '...' button at the top-right corner, and select the text items you want to paste. (On iOS/iPadOS 13 or later, you can also swipe down with two fingers to select items.)
- Tap the paste button below (the second button from the left) to paste them all together.
Limitations
Due to iOS/iPadOS restrictions, the keyboard has the following limitations:

- The keyboard can only paste text into target locations.
- To paste non-textual data such as images, the keyboard can only copy the data to the clipboard. Then you need to paste the copied data yourself. (If the keyboard cannot copy data to the clipboard, enable it with full access.)
- Formatted text are always pasted as plain text. To paste formatted text in their original formats, copy the text to the clipboard first (by swiping right on the item), and then paste the copied data yourself.
